About Tess Lee Miller

Tess Lee Miller I was raised in the home of an amazing minister and blessed with a loving, nurturing family. God's blessings have been in evidence my entire life and it is His grace through Christ Jesus that has provided the life, opportunities and abilities I have. I began drawing at a very early age and drew my first portraits in junior high school. My mother once told me she remembers me as "always having a pencil in her hand". There were no art classes offered during high school, so I was excited to be able to attend, and earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from, Mississippi University for Women.

March 2016 ended a two-year term as the President of the Artist Association of the Inland Empire. Without a doubt it was the most fun and most rewarding experience of my "retired" life. Over the past few years I've been awarded numerous awards in juried shows including Best of Show for a Colored Pencil piece, and also awards for first, second, third and honorable mentions. I enjoy making art more and more every day. I currently work solely to create beautiful heirloom-quality commissioned artwork at a reasonable cost for your home, office or as a gift.
